Terms of use and sale

Last updated: October 23, 2026

1. Purpose

These terms govern the purchase and use of the Polandroid mobile app (the "App") for Android. By buying or using the App, you accept them.

2. Publisher

Tals, French sole proprietorship (micro-entreprise)
SIREN: 109 647 354
Email: tals.enterprise@gmail.com
Publication director: TALS

3. Hosting of these pages

Netlify, Inc., 512 2nd Street, Suite 200, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA – www.netlify.com.
The App itself uses no server.

4. Description

Polandroid is a virtual instant camera: it lets you take photos, apply styles to them, draw on them, sort them into albums, save them to the phone's gallery and share them. It requires a device running Android 10 or later, with a camera.

5. Price and purchase

6. Right of withdrawal

The App is digital content supplied immediately after purchase. Under Article L. 221-28, 13° of the French Consumer Code, and the equivalent EU rules, the right of withdrawal no longer applies once the download has started with your prior consent and your express waiver of that right, collected by Google Play at checkout. You may still ask Google Play for a refund under the conditions and time limits of its refund policy.

7. Licence

Tals grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the App, on the devices linked to the Google account used for the purchase, for private use. Except where the law allows it (in particular Article L. 122-6-1 of the French Intellectual Property Code), you may not copy, modify, decompile, redistribute, resell or rent the App.

8. Intellectual property

The App, its code, design, sounds and texts belong to Tals, except for third-party components used under open licences (for example the Poppins font, under the SIL Open Font License).

Your photos belong to you. Tals acquires no rights over the photos and drawings you create, and has no access to them.

9. Your use

You agree to use the App lawfully, in particular respecting the image rights and privacy of the people you photograph, and not to use it to create or distribute unlawful content. You alone are responsible for the photos you take and share.

10. Legal guarantees

As a consumer, you benefit from the legal guarantee of conformity for digital content set out in Articles L. 224-25-1 et seq. of the French Consumer Code. If the App is not in conformity, contact Tals at tals.enterprise@gmail.com. Tals may release updates to fix defects, improve the App or adapt it to new Android versions.

11. Liability

Tals takes great care over the App but cannot guarantee that it will work without interruption or error on every device. Since photos are only kept on your phone, they may be lost if you uninstall the App, clear its data or lose the device; we recommend saving the ones you want to keep to your gallery. Tals is not liable for indirect damage or for third-party services (Google Play, apps you share photos to). Nothing in these terms limits the rights you have by law as a consumer.

12. Personal data

The App collects no personal data. Details are in the privacy policy.

13. Complaints

For any complaint, first email tals.enterprise@gmail.com; Tals will aim to reply within 30 days.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by French law. Failing an amicable agreement, any dispute falls under the competent French courts. If you live in another country, you keep the benefit of the mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence.

15. Changes

Tals may change these terms, in particular to follow changes to the App or the law. The applicable version is the one online when you use the App; the date of the last update is shown at the top of the page.

This English version is provided for convenience. In case of discrepancy, the French version prevails, subject to the mandatory rules of your country of residence.
